1. Acceptance of Terms

By checking "Check Eligibility", submitting an inquiry, or using the Horizon Recovery LLC website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Horizon Recovery LLC assists property owners and heirs in identifying and recovering surplus funds (overages) resulting from tax sales.

Disclaimer: We are NOT a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Our services are limited to research, document processing, and administrative support. When legal representation is required, we may coordinate with licensed attorneys.

3. Contingency Fees

Our services are provided on a contingency basis. This means we only charge a fee if and when we successfully recover funds for you. If no funds are recovered, you owe us nothing. Specific fee structures will be outlined in a separate written agreement (Recovery Agreement) before we begin processing your claim.

4. Communications and TCPA Consent

By providing your telephone number to us, you consent to receive communications from Horizon Recovery LLC, including phone calls, emails, and text messages (SMS), regarding your inquiry or case.

You represent that you are the account holder or customary user of the phone number you provide. You agree to notify us immediately if your number changes.

Opt-Out: Participation in text messaging is voluntary. You may opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to any SMS message.

5. No Guarantees

While we strive for success in every case, we cannot guarantee the recovery of funds. The outcome of any claim depends on factors outside our control, including county policies, legal statutes, and the validity of competing claims.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Horizon Recovery LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia.
